The Yoga Arts studio is located in beautiful Point Loma walking distance from the San Diego bay front and nearby many coffee shops and local eateries. The studio entrance is located in the parking lot behind the florist. 

 

               

Amy Pachowicz

Amy Pachowicz has been teaching for 15 years. She traveled to Pune, India in 2007 to study at the Iyengar Institute. Her teachers, Jo Zukovich and Manouso Manos, are both certified Iyengar Instructors.


            

Jo Zukovich

Jo Zukovich began her yoga journey in 1979, started teaching in the mid 80's and owned and ran a large yoga studio for many years. She has traveled to India to study with B.K.S. Iyengar and his family, as well as studying with many top teachers in the U.S. and Europe. Jo feels blessed that she has been part of the surge of interest in yoga since the beginning. Her experience of teaching has been one of the great joys in life along with her wonderful family. Jo truly loves teaching what she has learned along the way.

Amy Pachowicz opened Yoga Arts San Diego in January 2013. She began studying Iyengar yoga in college at Barnard in 1986. She began classes with Jo Zukovich in 1992 when she moved back to San Diego. She has studied with Manuoso Manos for ten years and began teaching in 1996. In 2007 she went to Pune, India for classes at the Iyengar Institute. In 2013 she completed her teacher training program at YogaOne in San Diego.

Amy teaches eight classes each week at Yoga Arts. Jo Zukovich teaches sessions at Yoga Arts on Thursday nights. Please contact Jo directly if you want to attend her class at jo@zukovich.com. The unlimited packages with Amy do not include Jo's Thursday night class.

Amy also teaches at the San Diego Museum of Art in Balboa Park. Her public class is held in the gallery and runs in sessions. She teaches a private class at the museum for the staff.
