Hatha Yoga

Hatha Yoga integrates mind and body, allowing the student to become aware of the smallest parts of the body while the mind becomes alert and clear through the practice of the poses and refining the breath.

Iyengar Yoga

Iyengar yoga is a form of Hatha Yoga that emphasizes alignment in the performance of posture (asana) and breath control (pranayama). The development of strength, mobility and stability is gained through the asanas.

Gentle STRETCH

A slower paced class appropriate for beginners, seniors and prenatal students. Still learning your limits in your poses? This is a great class to stretch at your own pace and become more comfortable with your practice. Our sequences are created to undo tension and reduce stress, to stretch your legs and hips and stabilize your lower back. Instructors keep a watchful eye on students to encourage safe practice while learning.

Yoga ELEMENTALS – All Levels

Perfect for newer students or those seeking to reconnect with the foundations of your practice. Instructors focus on alignment to create steadiness and firmness in the poses. The sequence of poses will lead you into a state of deep rest at the end of class. This student favorite is offered four times/week and appropriate for All Levels of students.

Iyengar GROUNDING Levels I & II

This warming class is taught by a Certified Iyengar Instructor. Traditional alignment-based instruction is given to promote a deep understanding of how to safely work in the poses. Sanskrit names may be used but don’t shy away from that; there is a mix of beginner and intermediate students in class. Standing poses will be taught as well as twists and forward bends. Preparations for beginning inversions and supported backbends may also be taught. Always work within your limits and rest in child’s pose when needed.

Iyengar GLOW Level II

Explore inversions and backbends in this Level II class taught by our Certified Iyengar Instructor.  Wake up the spine with backbends, refresh with twists, ground with standing poses and conclude with a lovely restorative pose or Savasana.  This class is a tonic for the soul and meant for students with a working knowledge of backbends and inversions.  Modifications will be given; BUT the instructor expects students to already know how to safely work within their limits.

VITALITY Levels II & III

Strength Power Grace Join this Intermediate yoga class with other students from across the US and abroad. In this challenging class you will increase strength and flexibility, you will create space in the body and gain a deep understanding of your inner world. Instructor expects students to have a working knowledge of inversions and backbends and know how to safely work within one’s limits. Hand mudras are taught to cultivate self-knowledge. These classes are recorded and available for purchase in our online store. For your virtual class have props ready: blankets, block, chair.

lyengar RESTORE

These classic Iyengar restorative sequences will soothe your nerves and promote relaxation and well-being. Poses are held longer with blankets and bolsters for support and modifications will be given. This class is appropriate for students with a basic knowledge of poses like seated forward bends. Introductory pranayama or breathwork is also taught.
If possible please have props ready: blankets and bolster or pillows.

Hatha BASICS

Gentle asana class to help anchor the day appropriate for beginners and anyone wanting a slower-paced class. Perfect class for students interested in learning basic yoga poses to build a solid foundation.

Hatha + Sound Healing

A warming movement Hatha class for All Levels of students.  Unwind from the day with easy sun salutations or grounding floorwork.  Let go of stress with twists and connect with yourself through your breath.  This class ends with a long Savasana and crystal bowl sound healing to set the evening for a restful finish.
